1) Do What Scares You

Sometimes, what scares us the most is what we need to be doing. If we’re scared of leaving our jobs to pursue our dreams we need to look at the reasons why we’re afraid, are they realistic and how much would doing this affect our spiritual path?

Part of our evolution involves stepping outside of our comfort zone to learn spiritual our spiritual lessons.

2) Never Give Up – People Who Do Will Never Know How Close They Actually Were

You really don’t. The only way you can truly fail is when you decide to throw in the towel. Success and achievement could be just around the corner, but you’ll never know if you stop.

Perseverance is key and we need to remember those good things take time, work and patience. Hang in there, people are depending on you making the world a better place!

3) Always Move Forward

This isn’t to say that we should be living in our future, it simply means that we should never let the past hold us back.

If something doesn’t work out as planned, learnt the lesson and move forward.

4) Put in More Than You Take Out

You should never take more than you give. If you’re on the receiving end of someone’s kindness, it should be your policy to show even more kindness to the next person that needs it.

If we collectively could learn to do this then the world would be a much different place.

5) Make Quick Decisions

Trust your inner voice and listen to your initial decisions. It is all too easy to develop a habit of questioning our initial thoughts and talking ourselves out of things.

Initial decisions are often based on intuition and feeling, it’s important that you listen to these and trust these decisions in order to hone this gift that we all have.

6) Let Go Of Control

The sooner you realize that the only thing you are truly in control of, is your own actions, the happier you will be. Too many people try to keep control of everything but it’s like trying to hold water in cupped hands. Eventually, you’ll lose it all.

Focus on your own actions, thoughts and behaviors. Once you’re in control of them you are truly powerful.

7) Immerse Yourself In Other Cultures

The world is such a huge place that we can only hope to experience a small part of it. However, that shouldn’t stop us trying to meet as many different kinds of people and experience as many types of customs and cultures as possible.

It’s important to get an idea of other peoples beliefs, priorities and the way they live their lives. It opens the mind and heart and allows you to identify what’s really important in your own life.

8) Question Everything

Don’t accept the ‘official’ explanation or accept that things can’t be made to be better. If that was how everyone thought, then we would not advance spiritually or stumble across amazing scientific discoveries that improve the lives of people by a huge degree.

Always think how things can be made better, there is no end to perfection or trying to make the world a happier and safer place.

9) Help Whenever You Can

Life is about love, compassion and kindness. It is our duty as humans to help people as much as we can. Donate time to various initiatives, lend a small word of kindness, take the time to listen to someone that’s in need.

They don’t have to be enormous gestures but if your first thought in a situation is “how can I help?” You, and the people you come in contact with, will be a whole lot happier.

10) Be True to Your Values

Your values and inner beliefs are important to your soul and it’s essential that you live by your own moral code.

This will be added to or change slightly as we go through life but it should generally focus on treating other people with respect & kindness, and ultimately being able to say that the world is a little bit better because you lived in it.
