Is This The Most Incredible Bridge Ever?

We’re talking about Devils Bridge Germany, or Die Rakotzbrück as it’s known locally. It was built over 150 years ago – in 1860. The bridge was designed using a unique construction accuracy that causes the bridge and its reflection to merge into a perfect circle, no matter where you look at it from.

It is of course a favourite spot of both architects and photographers alike, with thousands of people flocking to witness the marvel year-on-year. Devils Bridge was a term used for bridges that seemed impossible to make due to their thin and unsteady appearance.

This particular Devil’s bridge is located in Kromlauer Park, Saxony Germany and also contains around 200 acres of beautiful landscape dotted throughout with fantastic Gothic architecture.

Of course the main attraction is the bridge, but the other stunning architecture is also fantastic to see in person at any time of the year. There’s something ethereal about seeing gothic architecture covered in snow, and it changes the whole mood of the park.
