20 Incredible Destinations You Can Visit on Google Maps

There are so many places to see across the world it’s hard to know how we’ll get around to doing them all, or what we should make it a priority to go and see first! If you’ve got the travel bug and can’t wait until your next adventure, have you ever used Google Maps to get up close and personal with some famous places to see?

Many of the destinations below are visible via street view which means you can even ‘walk’ around the places and get a feel for the area. The rest are 360 photographs that will give you the impression of standing there in awe…

Ok, we know it’s not the same as actually going to see these places in person, but it’s something while we’re saving/waiting to go, right? Take a look through the various lists below and check out the places you’re looking forward to seeing first. If there are other places you want to see then enter them into Google Maps and see if they have street view available for it yet, if they do – be sure to let us know in the comments and we can add them to this list.

Be warned however, it’s very addictive. We spent a very long time looking at different destinations (and waaayyy to long in Diagon Alley!), so make sure you’ve a lot of time to spare and start exploring. It’s a really handy tool if you’re planning trips and want to know what’s in the surrounding area as well!
